Celebrate Black History Month

The library is celebrating Black History Month throughout February - the offerings are diverse and there are resources for all ages.

Children are invited to a special program at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Warrenton Library. Call (540) 349-1128 for more information on this free event. While at the library, pick up the latest Black History book list for children, too.

On that same front, parents, teachers and children should check out Youth Services Librarian Jennifer Schultz' Kiddosphere blog for book reviews related to Black History.

Adults should take a look at Collection Development Manager Fran Burke-Urr's Shelf Scene for more resouces.

The library's Web site also provides online book lists for children, teens, and adults, as well as providing links to many other Black History resources.
