Teens getting crafty this summer

Teens will be making collages out of vinyl records, hoop dancing (these are not your grandmothers hula hoops!), constructing punk lanterns and becoming drama queens (or kings) this summer.

These are just a few of the 8 weeks of special events being presented at Fauquier County Public Library branches as part of the library's Submerge Yourself @ the Library summer program. Some of the event descriptions have warnings, such as "This craft involves paint," but all sound like fun.

The free programs and special events are presented courtesy of the Friends of the Fauquier Library and are supported by Burger King, Chick-Fil-A, Effees Frozen Treats, Warrenton Home Depot, Identi-tape, Marshall McDonalds, and Bealeton Domino’s Pizza.
