What do trees and clowns have in common?
Two very different events are happening at Fauquier libraries this month as part of the free summer reading program Amazing Tales, for children of all ages.
The first event, Treerific Tales, features guest presenters from the Warrenton Tree Board along with other local natural resource professionals, who will explore happy childhood memories, songs and stories feature trees. Every tree has a tale to tell, and children will hear of ways to explore trees artistically and scientifically at this free event recommended for students going into grades 1 through 5 this fall.
The next special event in the Amazing Tales series is an appearance of Mayhem the Clown at all Fauquier libraries. Mayhem will fascinate viewers when he demonstrates how he transforms himself into a clown, then he’ll share some of his clowning tricks and techniques. Everyone in the family is invited to this free event presented courtesy of the Friends of the Fauquier Library.
Register to participate in Amazing Tales programs, which continue through Aug 6.
