Bealeton Library launches two new kids' programs

In September the Bealeton Library is launching two new ongoing programs for children.

Children in kindergarten through 3rd grade are invited to a drop-in to do crafts any time between 10 a.m. to noon the first Saturday of every month. Don't worry about supplies; just have the kids bring their imaginations. The first program is Sept. 3.

The other new Bealeton Library program for kids is Readers Rock, for kids in 4th-6th grade who love to read and would like to meet new friends. At this program, slated for 4 p.m. the third Tuesday of the month, participants will hear about new books, talk about favorites and enjoy games and activities while noshing on snacks. The inaugural Readers Rock program is September 20.

Both new programs, sponsored by the Friends of the Fauquier Library, are free to attend. Registration is not required.
