The library provides free access to online databases of news articles, encyclopedias and test preparation materials, as well as homework help and other resources 24/7. So even if your student starts a project after the library closes for the day, if they have a library card they can begin their research immediately. And be sure to check out the other online resources for children and teens.
The library also has free Internet access, an especially important resource for families that don’t have access at home. Many schools require students to use the Internet to complete their homework.
As an added bonus, throughout September Warrenton’s Chick-Fil-A is offering anyone signing up for a Fauquier County Public Library card a free sandwich coupon. When applicants apply in person, or use a card for the first time after applying online, library staff will present them with a Chick-Fil-A sandwich coupon.
Getting a library card is easy. Apply online or complete an application at any Fauquier County Public Library branch. Locations are: Warrenton Library; Bealeton Library; and John Marshall Library, Marshall.
