Sunday hours returning to county libraries

Fauquier County’s supervisors are restoring Sunday afternoon hours to all of the county’s public libraries effective July 1. The reinstated Sunday hours, 1 to 5 p.m., were cut in July 2010 due to county budget reductions. Friday hours, which were reduced in 2010 when Sunday hours were cut completely, were restored in July 2011.

The return of Sunday hours will be welcomed by many residents who, because of their work schedules and other commitments, can only visit the library on Sundays. On July 1 the library’s hours of operation will return to the level it was prior to the 2010 budget reductions.

Get directions to and the full hours of operation at the Warrenton, Bealeton, and John Marshall libraries.
