Something for everyone

Libraries have something for everyone,” declares Fauquier County Public Library Director Maria Del Rosso.  “Most important of all,” she points out, “services are free to anyone with a library card.

Here are a few services Fauquier libraries offer that you might not be aware of:

  • A library card opens the door to a world of reliable online information, accessible and free to library card holders 24/7.  And it is delivered without ads.
  • Nonprofits and other groups in need of funding can visit the Bealeton Library for access to the Foundation Center, the world’s leading source for information on more than 100,000 foundations, corporate donors, and grant making public charities and 2.3 million of their recent grants.
  • The Warrenton Library’s Virginiana Room has an extensive collection of materials focusing on state and local history and genealogical research. The library also welcomes historical and genealogical research questions by mail: Fauquier County Public Library, 11 Winchester St., Warrenton, VA 20186
  • If you get stumped while doing your research, help is a just phone call away.  Call (540) 422-8500, ext. 6862, or email your questions
Need a library card? Complete a short online application. Once you apply you can immediately use online resources and check out e-books and e-audio books.
