Our gardens are in bloom!

Garden Club and Bealeton Library Teen Advisory Group team up for Spring gardening

Continuing a tradition that spans two decades, the Cedar Run Garden Cub is once again refreshing the
Warrenton and Bealeton library gardens and creating a welcoming and beautiful entrance for Library patrons.

For the second year in a row, the Garden Club worked alongside the Bealeton Library Teen Advisory Group (TAG) as it replaced flower pots, replanted flowers and came to the rescue of several tired indoor plants at the Bealeton Library.

Lead by Karen Pearson, member of Cedar Run Garden Club and president of Fauquier Master Gardeners, Bealeton TAG members dug in, literally and figuratively, to the Bealeton gardens and plants earlier this month. Thanks to their efforts, the front entrance of the Bealeton library once again welcomes patrons with colorful fresh flowers.

The enthusiasm of the TAG and the experience of the Garden Club is truly a wonderful combination – when these two groups get together, the grounds are beautified, the teens learn something new and everyone has a great time!

Funding for the project is generously provided by the Friends of the Library each year.
