Fun, Science and the Library: A Winning Combination

Warrenton Library

Our recent Science @ the Library program, offered in cooperation with Wakefield School, The Plains, was a huge success!  The program, held at all three Fauquier County Public Library locations, was well attended and provided children with a fun way to explore science.

Our instructors had a great time too, as evidenced by this note:

Dear Friends,
John Marshall Library

Thank you for joining us at the Fauquier Library for our “Science @ the Library” session. We truly enjoyed meeting you and your children and had great fun together following the engineering design process to create bridges out of straws and triangles. There were some amazing creations! We hope to be able to offer more programs in the future.

Many thanks,

Miranda Lambourne, Cyndi Williams, & Mary Steensma
