Mark Your Calendar - Summer Reading Fun Starts June 14

We hope you will join us for an exciting start to the summer reading program special events.

For Children
Start off summer reading with a bang, literally, when Mad Science of DC visits all three Fauquier County Public Library locations. This highly interactive program for children grades K - 5 is action packed with fascinating science demonstrations. Science IS fun!

Saturday, June 14
John Barton Payne Building - 10:30 a.m.
Bealeton Library - 1 p.m.
John Marshall Library - 3:30 p.m.

For Teens

Teens will enjoy the opportunity to meet the co-authors Amie Borst and her teenage daughter Bethanie for a discussion about their book Cinderskella, a laugh-out-loud story of a girl who wakes up to find herself dead.

Where did they get their inspiration? How hard was it to work as a mother-daughter team to write the book? What is it like to be a published author?

Attend this author visit to learn the answer to these any other questions - and get tips to pursue your own writing dreams. PLUS, one lucky teen at each library location will win a copy of the book.

Bealeton Library - Tuesday, June 17 @ 4 p.m.
