Summer Reading Program: This Week's Fun for Kids and Teens

More fun programs are coming this week for children and teens as our 2014 summer reading program continues!

In addition to the great weekly programs, like Family Movies, Book Buzz, Tween Scene, the Daily Docket and story times, we have exciting special events planned for children and teens.

Origami Fun
Monday, July 28
John Barton Payne Bldg., 4 p.m.
Wednesday, July 30
Bealeton Library, 2 p.m.
Thursday, July 31
John Marshall Library, 2 p.m.
Children in 3rd grade and up will enjoy the magic and fun of origami.
[Experienced origami folders of all ages may attend.]

Teen Movie Night
Tuesday, July 29
5 p.m. at all library locations
Rising 6th graders and up are invited to Ender's Game. Based on the Orson Scott Card classic sci-fi novel, Ender's Game is a great way to get out of the heat, hang out with your friends and enjoy free popcorn! Enter a drawing for your chance to take home your own copy of this great movie!
[Note: This movie is rated PG-13]

Don't forget to keep logging your books. Teens can still submit book reviews for more chances to earn prizes.

Happy Reading!
