Archaeology Film Fest Coming in October

Every October Virginia recognizes and celebrates Virginia archaeology at libraries, museums, historical societies, clubs and active archaeological sites.

To commemorate archaeology here at the Fauquier County Public Library, we put our heads together and came up with some great archaeology-related movies each Sunday in October. All movies will be shown at the Warrenton Library.

Admission is free; popcorn and drinks will be provided, courtesy of the Friends of the Fauquier Library. Showtime is 2 p.m. If you dig movies, mark your calendars. Here's the lineup:

  1. Oh phooey. I thought the films would be interesting documentaries about archeology.

  2. There is also a nice Piriot mystery centered on an archeological dig.
