We Couldn't Do It Without Friends

Everyone needs a friend, right? Right! Even your local library.

The Friends of the Fauquier Library provide generous support for library programs and events for children, teens and adults, as well as special library purchases. In FY 2014, they contributed $26,000 to the library. Funds are raised largely through from the Book Cellar, a used book shop located in the basement of the John Barton Payne bldg. in Old Town Warrenton.

Libraries around the country celebrate their local Friends organizations October 20-26 during National Friends of Libraries Week.

To join the Fauquier County Public Library in thanking the Friends, all library users are invited to sign the Thank You card located at your local library's circulation desk. While your here, ask about how you can join the Friends of the Fauquier Library - new members are always welcome! It's easy to join and your support helps ensure vibrant library programs and services.
