Finding Funders Workshop at the Bealeton Library

The Bealeton Library is offering a hands-on workshop - An Introduction to Finding Funders. The workshop will provide an introduction (or refresher) to The Foundation Directory Online Professional, a research tool to help nonprofits find the grant makers most likely to fund their projects with access to 120,000+ foundations and corporate donors.

The workshop will be held at the Bealeton Library on the following dates/times:
Wednesday, November 5 - 9 a.m.
Tuesday, November 18 - 9 a.m.

Attendees of this workshop will learn how to create customized searches to develop lists of prospective foundations and corporate donors that match your nonprofit organization's funding needs. This is a great follow-up to the Grant Seeking Basics courses, held in October.

The Bealeton Library is a member of the Foundation Center's Funding Information Network and provides access to the leading sources of data about philanthropy worldwide.  These resources are available free of charge at the Bealeton Library.

There are still have a few openings for Wednesday, November 5 at 9:00 am.  The workshop is free, but registration is required. Contact Natalie Wheeler, Bealeton Branch Manager and Grant Research Collection Manager, at (540) 422-8532 to reserve a space.
